How To Find A Dentist Near You

Finding a dentist is as easy as turning on your computer. But finding a reliable dentist is a tad bit more challenging. This daunting task has been made easier with the advent of technology but there are still dentists out there who are taking advantage of the little guy. If you do not want to be upcharged and want to work with someone who you can rely on then you either need to marry a dentist or follow our simple steps. We have made it easier for you to find a dentist that you can trust with these rules. However, each town or state is different so some of these things might need to be taken with a grain of salt. But for the most part if you follow our rules then you will find a trustworthy dentist.

What We Do

Word of Mouth

No pun intended. Although the internet is brilliant, sometimes it cannot be trusted. With fake news spreading and bots that are able to influence human thought, there is no replacement for face to face, in person interactions. When you see someone who has a bright smile or their breath is minty, ask them who their dentist is and where they go. If they are happy with the services of their dentist then they will gladly point you in the right direction. Just recently my mother was in search of a new dentist. Her dentist was retiring and she just could not find someone that she could trust. At church she noticed that someone had a bright white smile so she asked them where they got their teeth cleaned. They referred my mother to a dentist and the rest is history. Word of mouth has been around since the dawn of man and there is a reason for this fact. It works, plain and simple.

Healthcare Provider

Health insurance is something that you must have and if you do you have the peace of mind to sleep at night. The very best healthcare providers will be able to present you with a list of dentists that they trust. This comprehensive list will point you in the right direction so that you can get your teeth cleaned by someone who is the utmost professionals. Depending on your healthcare, they are not going to list a dentist who cannot be trusted. This is not going to make them look good and in turn will cause them to lose business. So part of their bottom line is to only list dentists who are going to do good work. Trust your healthcare provider and use the list that they present to you so that you can get your teeth cleaned by someone who knows what they are doing and have been doing it for years.

Internet

When all else fails, use the internet. I had a friend who recently found their dentist via a website online. They were listed on the website and had fantastic reviews. My friend went and now that dentist is the only place they go for any type of oral issues. There is no right way of going about getting a dentist, just do your own research. Trust your instincts and chances are you will find someone that will help you. If not, there are plenty of fish in the sea and means to catch those fish.
